The DIY Fallacy.
With modern technology and widely available DIY being advertised, small business owners often make the mistake of thinking they can just make a logo or a website with a snap of a finger. They often start investing in equipment or programs that seems like they should be able to do it in the snap but the dirty secret is that these products all have a marketing team behind them that want you to think you can do it in a snap.
This is often not the case. Over the years, I have seen businesses believe ChatGPTing headlines or using Canva to design their business logo will work because they are just “starting out”. They buy expensive cameras and shoot on auto without having an eye for composition or lighting. Many business owners grow frustrated as their business does not attract clients or they keep wasting time on the same promotional projects. With the growth of DIY possibilities, to stand out in your market, you need unique design strategies to be successful in your business. You need someone who understands long-term investments in marketing.
